Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FinderVibe (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use:

  • the FinderVibe mobile application;
  • the FinderVibe website at https://findervibe.com;
  • related websites, services, and support channels.

1. Who May Use FinderVibe

FinderVibe is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

You must not create an account or use FinderVibe if you are under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information and close the account.

2. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use FinderVibe.

Account information

When you create or use an account, we may collect:

  • email address;
  • password credentials and account security information;
  • email-verification information;
  • session and authentication identifiers;
  • account status and sign-in activity.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card details when purchases are processed through Apple, Google, Shopify, or another payment provider.

Profile information

You may provide information for your FinderVibe profile, including:

  • name or display name;
  • date of birth and age;
  • username;
  • gender and sexual orientation;
  • relationship goals and dating preferences;
  • town or city;
  • interests and hobbies;
  • work, lifestyle, pet, family, drinking, smoking, and exercise preferences;
  • profile descriptions and other information you choose to provide.

Some profile information, such as sexual orientation or relationship preferences, may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable law. You choose whether to provide this information, but some features may not work fully without relevant profile details.

Photos and user content

We collect photos and other content that you upload or publish through FinderVibe.

Your profile information and photos may be displayed to other FinderVibe users according to your settings and the operation of the service.

Location information

With your permission, FinderVibe may collect device location or approximate location information to:

  • show relevant people in your discovery area;
  • calculate approximate distance;
  • support date planning;
  • help identify nearby venues and places.

FinderVibe displays town or city information rather than a precise street address to other users. You can control location permissions through your device settings, although disabling location may limit discovery and date-planning features.

Purchases and Vibe Coins

If you buy Vibe Coins, we may receive and process information such as:

  • product identifier;
  • transaction identifier;
  • purchase date;
  • purchase status;
  • refund or restoration status;
  • the number of Vibe Coins credited to your FinderVibe account.

Payments are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or other applicable payment providers. RevenueCat may process purchase and transaction information to validate purchases and support restoration. FinderVibe does not receive your full payment-card number.

Technical and usage information

We may automatically receive limited technical information when you use FinderVibe, such as:

  • IP address;
  • device type and operating system;
  • application version;
  • session information;
  • error and diagnostic information;
  • security and fraud-prevention information;
  • general usage activity needed to operate and protect the service.

We do not use personal information for advertising tracking unless we update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or consent required by law.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • verify your email address and protect account security;
  • provide discovery, matching, PASS, and VIBES features;
  • display your profile to other users;
  • support date offers, date planning, and nearby venue searches;
  • process and verify Vibe Coin purchases;
  • credit Vibe Coins to your account;
  • restore purchases where supported;
  • respond to support requests;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, harassment, and other harmful activity;
  • enforce our Terms and Community Standards;
  • maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve FinderVibe;
  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
  • protect the rights, safety, and property of FinderVibe, our users, and others.

Matching and discovery recommendations may be generated using profile information, preferences, location, and activity. These recommendations do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we generally process personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the account and FinderVibe services you request;
  • Consent: where you choose to provide optional information or grant permissions, such as location access;
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, improve, and protect the service, provided those interests do not override your rights;
  • Legal obligation: where processing is required by law;
  • Vital interests: where necessary to protect someone from serious harm.

You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time, although this may affect related features.

5. How We Share Personal Information
